Starship Lithium Project

Quebec, Canada - Lithium

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Project is located along the Lower Eastmain Shear zone, within the prolific lithium district of James Bay in the province of Quebec, Canada
  • Adjacent to one of the most significant pegmatite-hosted lithium deposits in Quebec, the James Bay Lithium Deposit owned by Arcadium Lithium (formerly Allkem)
  • The area is heavily staked, primarily around and adjacent to major faults/shears
  • Pegmatites at the James Bay Lithium Project (Cyr) occur as northeast-southwest trending irregular dykes or lenses and are interlayered within host rock

GEOLOGY

  • The Starship Lithium project is located along an East-West trending shear zone.
  • The package is centered around plutonic rocks South of the Eastmain Shear Zone.
  • Numerous dikes cross the package.

GEOLOGY - CENTRAL

  • Central geological zone is primarily focused on E-W trending Fault/Shear zones
  • Eastmain Shear zones separates the two distinct geological domains
  • Interface between Causabiscau Suite and Jolicoeur Complex along dextral faults/shear zone provide key prospects for lithium bearing pegmatites

GEOLOGY - SOUTH

  • Geology of southern zone dominated by Granitic and Paragneiss rocks of Neoarchean age
  • Technical report on the James Bay Lithium deposit considers the granitic batholith to be the primary factor emplacing Li-Bearing Pegmatites
  • Jolicoeur Complex Paragneiss known to host significant mineral occurrences of Gold/Silver within eastern portion of the Eastmain Shear zone

SOIL GEOCHEMISTRY

  • The Project contains wide-spread government sediment sampling data, with one zone displaying a distinct lithium anomalism.
  • The anomalous zone of lithium-in-sediments occur in areas of favourable geology for pegmatites, and are not associated with any known lithium occurrences/deposits.

TOPOGRAPHY

TOPOGRAPHY - CENTRAL

  • Regional lithium deposits have been correlated with topographic ridges, including those seen at the James Bay Lithium Deposit
  • Two zones within central area host to significant topographic highs/ridges

TOPOGRAPHY - SOUTH

  • Multiple zones of ridge-like occurrences
  • Pegmatite zones in the James Bay area are known
to be located on small hills surrounded by flat swampy terranes
