The total area for the entire Salar Antofalla Project is 12,262.40 hectares and comprises two areas:
ANTOFALLA NORTE PROJECT (Salta Province)
The Antofalla Norte area consists of four mining claims in Salta Province, in the process of being fully granted, covering an approximate area of 9,200 hectares.
ANTOFALLITA XX PROJECT (Catamarca Province)
The Antofallita XX area consists of a mining claim in Catamarca Province, in the process of being fully granted, covering an approximate area of 3,000 hectares.

2000-2006
The first exploration work for lithium and potassium in the area was carried out by the Argentine company Bolland Minera between the years 2000 and 2006. Based on 56 wells drilled in an area of 265 km2, Bolland has defined a resource for the southern sector of the Antofalla Salt Flat:

2002-2008
The Brazilian company Vale conducted intensive exploration from 2002 to 2008, focusing on potash. Vale mentioned values ranging from 1000 to 4000 ppm of potash and between 100 to 400 ppm of lithium at depths of up to 400 m for the central and southern sectors of the Antofalla Salt Flat.
